At the end of October, editor and writer Shane C. Kurup reached out to us while working on a feature for Men’s Health about the rise of men’s aesthetic treatments. Our first instinct was to assume it was spam - oops! But we realised he was genuinely interested in what we were building at nüseoul and how Korean aesthetics is influencing the way men are approaching skin and treatments today.

Shane is a London-based fashion and lifestyle journalist who has written for MR PORTER, Men’s Health UK, Esquire U.S., Monocle, GQ, The Wall Street Journal, The Telegraph, Wallpaper and more, so the fact that he wanted our perspective felt both surprising and deeply validating.
He wanted to understand how men are engaging with aesthetics now, what treatments they’re choosing, and why Korean philosophies around skin health, subtlety and long-term care are becoming more relevant globally. 10% of our clients that see us are men and that’s growing steadily.
Shane first interviewed Dr. Jenny and later came into the clinic to meet us in-person and get our most popular treatment focusing on skin; Rejuran HB+ with Dr. Byron.
We are incredibly grateful to him for approaching the piece with so much curiosity and openness, and for giving nüseoul a voice in a wider conversation about where aesthetics is heading. He is also an incredibly vocal supporter of Asian-owned businesses!
Please pick up the January 2026 edition of Men’s Health magazine so you can read the article for yourself!
